Tanger Outlets Nashville Partners with Plankton Energy to Launch Major Rooftop Solar Installation
Plankton Energy has partnered with Tanger Outlets to complete the installation of a 1,384-kilowatt rooftop solar system at the retail center’s Nashville, Tennessee location—transforming the property into a high-performing hub for clean, renewable energy.
Now fully operational, the system is expected to generate significant energy savings and environmental impact. Over its lifetime, Tanger Outlets Nashville is projected to save more than $5.8 million in electricity costs while offsetting over 14,860 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions—the equivalent of removing 3,460 gas-powered vehicles from the road.
