The process begins with an initial consultation to understand an organization’s energy and financial goals, along with site-specific considerations. Each property’s energy consumption is analyzed to determine an optimal system design and interconnection strategy that maximizes both environmental impact and financial return.
A comprehensive proposal is then presented, detailing the financial offering and project timeline. Following approval, Plankton Energy’s engineering team conducts a site visit to perform a detailed electrical and structural analysis and prepares plans for utility interconnection. Utility approval for interconnection is typically the longest phase of the process.
Once the interconnection is approved, the engineering team finalizes the system design and submits all required permits and local zoning applications. Plankton Energy manages the full construction and installation process and provides long-term support and maintenance throughout the system’s operational life.
