Designed as a community solar project, the system will provide clean energy to households across the region, enabling participating residents to lower their utility bills while supporting local renewable energy infrastructure. By hosting the project, Faith Community Church receives site lease payments and extends the benefits of solar power beyond its property to the broader Hopkinton community. The project was supported by Massachusetts’ SMART (Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target), solar incentive program, which provides financial incentives aimed at accelerating the deployment of clean energy across the state.
